He finally felt ready to make a CD of the music that he’s loved all his life. “I’ve been waiting for over 30 years to make this album,” states Linden. “I wanted to be old enough to be able to make a CD that was genuine, not me trying to copy the greats. I play this type of music every day, it informs everything I do.” And indeed, Colin has done a lot as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer. He has played on over 150 albums, produced more than 30 CDs and has worked with artists such as Bruce Cockburn, Colin James, Leon Redbone, T-Bone Burnett, and The Band. He is also a founding member of the award winning and critically acclaimed Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.
