She knows how to truly confound me
She knows when to wrap her arms around me
She knows how to cool me down, yeah
She knows how to cool me
She's a twister...
She knows how to truly do me
She knows how to see right through me
She knows when I'm walking weary
She knows how to cure me
Sometimes when the lights are low
I feel a cool wind starting to blow
I see the stars rocking to and fro
I know she's getting near me
She don't have to prove she's strong
She don't like to wait too long
She knows where I belong
She knows how to find me
She's a twister yeah
kiss me and I feel alright
she's a twister yeah
Turn off the power and say goodnight

What can I say? My wife likes watching those TV shows about tornadoes. I don't think this track sounds too labored-over. We definitely left the polisher in the van when we cut this. As a result, no track has ever been as much fun to play. However, we had to enroll the horn players in therapy after recording their parts. Note to all musicians: If you make a mistake, turn it into part of the arrangement. |
